The Jerusalem Youth Chorus

This is your call to support peace through the work and mission of an exceptional group of young Palestinian and Israeli people who have joined in harmony to form the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Chorus. They are making their debut UK Tour this December.

On Sunday, December 7th,the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Choruswill be appearing in concert at the Aldwych Theatre in London. Alongside the New London Children’s Choir, singer-songwriter Miel de Botton, and other special guests, the chorus will present its unique repertoire that blends influences of East and West, songs in English, Arabic, and Hebrew, and personal stories of inspiration and transformation from their singers.

Founded in 2012, the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Chorus creates a space for high school students from East and West Jerusalem to grow together in both song and dialogue.  Through the co-creation of music and the sharing of stories, the chorus empowers these youth to become leaders in their communities and inspire singers and listeners around the world to work for peace.

They are singing out for hope, mutual understanding, and a better future for all in the Holy Land, the Chorus seeks also to promote interfaith efforts in the UK during their visit this Christmas season.

Their latest inspiring music video, a cover of Phillip Phillips’ “Home,” has had over 150,000 views on YouTube so far, calling for a Jerusalem that can be home for all.
