Miel de Botton returns with her first release in four years – Loved Ones: Volume 1, arriving 15 August. This eagerly awaited EP marks the beginning of a deeply personal musical series, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into Miel’s world. Loved Ones Volume 1 is the first of 3 EPs to be released by Miel. 

This is more than a new collection of songs. Loved Ones: Volume 1 is a heartfelt tribute to the people who’ve shaped her journey, family, friends, creative collaborators, and the unseen supporters who’ve helped bring her vision to life.

With long-time producer Andy Wright once again at the helm, the four-track EP blends emotional honesty with rich musical textures, spanning multiple styles and languages. From the exuberant Hit Song, a joyous celebration of creative spirit, to the touching Meine Mutter homage to her mother and the emotionally stirring Mon Cher Petit Papa, Miel’s stories are both deeply personal and universally relatable. The final track, Forever Man, captures a vision of enduring love, supported by her trusted creative circle.

Everyone involved in the making of this EP is a “loved one”: from family members to vocal coaches, beauty therapists to close-knit studio companions. Their presence makes each track not only musically rich but emotionally resonant.
