Abbey Road Session

Here are some great photos from one of our recent recording sessions at Abbey Rd studios. So exciting! We recorded the string parts for the upcoming album here with a fantastic 22-piece string orchestra. Often there will be additional instrumental recordings added, for example, a brilliant percussionist or brass section…

It is wonderful seeing my own songs in particular being performed by this talented orchestra – very moving and exhilarating. We have also rehearsed here but tend to record more often at the very cosy Terry Britten studio in Richmond called State of the Ark. It’s filled with light as it is surrounded by a garden, an unusual and welcome feature for a studio.
